Overview

BioMS Reviewer enables rapid review of biomolecule MS data that has been deconvoluted using Agilent MassHunter BioConfirm (https://www.agilent.com/en/products/software-informatics/mass-spectrometry-software/data-analysis/bioconfirm-software). 

Electrospray mass spectra obtained from biomolecules such as peptides, proteins and oligonucleotides generally contains series of multiply-charged ions. 

In its simplest form, Bioconfirm software from Agilent Technologies provides a simple way of deconvoluting these multiply-charged ion series into a number of possible feature molecular weights.  In addition, MassHunter BioConfirm can generate text and pdf files containing the information about the identified molecular species.

When data are collected from large numbers of samples, it can be time-consuming to review each of these files to determine whether the desired product is present.

BioMS Reviewer is an application that can be used to rapidly evaluate such data from samples in 54-vial, 96 and 384-well plates generated using Agilent OpenLab Chemstation (https://www.agilent.com/en/products/software-informatics/chromatography-data-systems/openlab-cds-chemstation-edition) or MassHunter and deconvoluted using MassHunter BioConfirm.  If the user includes the mass of the target compound in the acquisition sequence table, a simple traffic-light indicator is used to indicate the presence of this target analyte.
