Mass Tolerance

When BioMS Reviewer compares the target mass provided for each injection with the biomolecule masses reported by MassHunter deconvolution, the mass tolerance is applied.

The tolerance for target mass comparison can be set in the toolbar. The calculation uses a window of ± the tolerance value.

The desired tolerance value can be typed into the box, adjusted using the spin buttons, or changed using the slider. When typing the number, pressing enter or clicking elsewhere on the program causes the mass matches to be recalculated. Releasing the slider control also causes the matches to be recalculated. The matches are also calculated with each click of the up/down buttons.
